Dal-Bati

Dal baati is an Indian dish of dal and baati. It is popular in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh!!

Ingredients:-


• 2 cup wheat flour


• 1/2 cup corn flour


• Salt


• Baking soda


• 1/2 tsp Ajwain


• 2 tsp ghee


• Water

Recipe:-

Firstly, in a large bowl take 2 cup wheat flour,half cup cornflour, ¼ tsp salt, ¼ tsp baking powder, ajwain and ¼ cup ghee!!

Mix well making sure the dough is moist!!

Now add water as required and knead the dough!! pinch a small ball sized dough and roll with x impression!!

Place the rolled bati in each mould of appe pancover and cook on low flame for 30 minutes all sides!!

Dip the bati in ghee for more soft bati from inside!!

Dal is prepared using tuvaar dal, chana dal, mung dal, moth dal, or urad dal!!

Finally, enjoy dal bati churma!! Serve with Dal and tomatoes, lemon and spicy chutney and roasted papad!!
